AA Gill tar et blikk på hvorfor det er så mange forglemmelige kvinner på fjernsyn:
"The odd thing is that popular TV has an overwhelmingly female audience, and production company heads and commissioning editors are most likely to be women, the sort who have overachieved. Why is it that they insist on employing women they would be disappointed to have as daughters?"
Han gir oss også en update på karrieren til Ulrika Jonsson...
"But she was back again with Ulrika — Am I a Sex Addict? (Tuesday, C4). This is perhaps the first time a presenter has leapt at the chance to be her own reality victim. What was supposed to be an examination of sex addiction soon became a “look at me, look at me” view up Ulrika’s sex life. It would have been merely embarrassing if it hadn’t also, unintentionally, been appallingly funny. Ulrika sobbing her inability to love herself into the ear of a horse while taking part in equine therapy is something those of us who saw it will need to talk to a poodle about to get over. Jonsson has no talent for television except a willingness to explore her lack of talent. It was desperate, unenlightening, cynical broadcasting."
