Tonnevis med 80-talls referanser fra den britiske elektropop-duoen Hurts, der allerede tittelen «Wonderful Life» bringer tankene til Blacks låt med samme tittel mens lydbildet får oss til å tenke alt fra A Certain Ratio til Japan med en hint av Sheffield-sounden som oppstod for rundt 30 år siden.

Hun blir heller jaget av ulver

Man kan trygt si at Shakira ikke er som andre popstjerner, noe dette utdraget fra et intervju i le Guardian viser:

Droneland er ikke uenig. Men han begynner å lure på hva man skal si om popåret 2009 når han gir hennes nye album, «She-Wolf», terningkast 5 og mener at dette er en av årets plater så langt. Og da er det mindre enn to måneder igjen av året – og det kommer sjelden noe godt like før jul...
